Pontresina

San Nicoló Church in Pontresina
The church was built in baroque style in 1640, towards the end of the Thirty Years' War and after the end of the Grisons confusion. It is located on the Via Maistra, at the southern end of the old Laret quarter, and determines the village image. The tower, which is attached to the church building, was situated on the west wall of the church on Via Maistra. In 1887 the architect Jakob Ragaz moved the tower in an old form to the present place.
