This faux lighthouse sits on the Rio Tejo (River Tagus) just east of the Belem Tower in Lisbon, Portugal. It is not an aid to navigation and does not have a lantern in the faux gallery

One wonders why go to all that trouble building a faux lighthouse, but it certainly makes a great picture, especially with that bonus rainbow.

Faux lighthouse is something new to me. I like the stone work and the way it is illuminated. Nice with the dark sky and the rainbow. "V"
