Logroņo. Puente de Sagasta

Práxedes Mateo Sagasta Bridge, popularly known as Logroņo Fourth Bridge, is the newest of the buildings on the river Ebro in Logroņo.
The bridge has been built without any support on the River Ebro, with 140 meters of light to save both banks. The center stack, on which rest the roadway, has 161 meters long, 18.6 meters wide and 2 edge. This is held by a bowstring arch 28 meters high. The arc structure is actually double, consisting of two tubes of 1.2 meters in diameter, slightly inclined to each other to better withstand bending forces to which they are subjected. The arch separates into two both traffic, each having two lanes of 3.5 meters wide.
Sidewalks are formed by two side panels 4 and 1.1 meters wide edge that, unlike the roadway, they are not parallel to the central arc, but separated from it in a curve.
