This imposing Neo-gothic edifice reflects the bourgeois pride of the early 20th century. The carillon, located behind the oriole window in the tower, are known throughout the world: the enamelled copper characters do their dance three times a day at 11 a.m., noon and 5 p.m. (from November to February, no carillon at 5 p.m.). There is a fine view of Munich from the 88m tower.
