Avila. Torreón de los Velada

Built in the early sixteenth century, but with many later alterations.
Popularly known as The Tower of the Evening, is a work that was used in the masonry to the canvas and granite blocks for corners and openings, where we can see very good Forging lattices. From this tower are distributed both wings of the building, they are organized into two bodies and one can see one of our typical Renaissance facades: large segments are arranged in an arch over them an arch window ogee and molded framing around a rectangular frame.
As remarkable historical review were lodged in this palace Charles I, his wife Isabella of Portugal and his son Philip, future Philip II.
