Piódão

Small village, in the deep center of Portugal, once the paradise and hell of top Rally drivers due to its dangerous roads ,around Açor mountain.
Mostly of its houses are made of schist. Now is the paradise of any photographer.But not for much longer, progress is softly killing this old small village.

Beautiful gallery. You really show us the essence of the beautiful little vilage of Piódão. I was there when I was a kid and I guess that it hasn't changed that much since...

This village is great, and as you describe it: a photographers paradise.
Maybe we will have the opportunity to visit it together my friend if it is not too far from Braga - Porto.
