hello, i was just trying to get the entire story about belmonte castle. i was told as a child, that it belonged to our family (ancestors), and it was lost in some kind of war or battle. my last name is belmonte, not a married name, my grand fathers last name was belmonte and was 100% italian, but all the info im finding is all portugese, or something to do with spain. is this a part of my heritage, or just a flook that my family has the same last name, and really is no part. please give me some answers...thank you
