Kato GP28 Kitbash Project

This is an easy kitbashing project to complete...The Missouri Pacific RR had only two GP28's on its' roster...both were ex-KO&G engines...The project really involves only minor modifications...using my mill...I milled off the radiator fans and replaced them with Cannon & Co. 48" radiator fans...and used a Plano fan hatch. Everything else is pretty much stock Kato.

This engine was completed around 2004...It has since been sold off.
