This is a Pecos River Brass former Texas and Pacific Railroad caboose, as modernized by the Missouri Pacific RR in their Sedalia, MO caboose shops. The car represents the last paint scheme given MoPac cabooses...a brilliant vermillion red. The Flying Eagle-Buzzsaw emblem (or "Screaming Eagle") on the sides was the last scheme used on the prototype cabooses before their subsequent retirements. The proud-looking caboose is serving the West Frankfort-Joppa area on my HO scale Layout.
