Joppa Subdivision Prototype-MoPac Era

These photos will show the Missouri Pacific's operation of their Joppa Subdivision in its' final years...You will see the choice of motive power was four axle GP's and B23-7's...The main reason for the line's existence was the coal fired powerplant at Joppa IL, and several online customers along the trackage between West Frankfort, IL and Joppa IL.

All photos on this page were taken by the Late Camille Chappius...and are now part of the MoPac Historical Society Collection...Check out the MPHS at www.mopac.org
