An evening view from my balcony
DSCF7649.JPGLooking at the SE from my balcony. to the left is the Rijkswaterstaat building, named 'de Maas'. It has a glass facade, which gives it a different aspect/reflection
on every different moment of the day. To the right is the former bank building of the 'Nederlandse bank' which is on the municipal monument list. It was built in the
50s of the last century. A new appartment building is to be built on top of it in the coming years. |
DSCF7651.JPGView to the south. To the left the old bank building, Centre is the KPN building, next to EWrasmus bridge. The 'hole' to the left of the centre is the place where
an adjacent building of the bank stood. It was demolished. On that place another high rise building weill be constructed. Part of the harbour will be used as a suterranean
parking garage. |
