Estevan Point Lightstation

Located on the west coast of Vancouver Island, Estevan was the
site of a Japanese submarine attack during WW 2, and was the
only place on Canadian soil attacked by a foreign military since
Confederation. The sub fired some 25 shells at the light. They missed.
