Thank you sooo much for all that pictures, my residency in Kong Kong ended in 1984. I moved to Canada for almost 26 years, and revisited Sau Mau Ping in 1989 but most of the buildings were demolished and so was my primary school ( Kim Sum Catholic school ).
Looking forward to seeing more of your historical pictures in Hong Kong, especially Kwung Tung, not sure the spelling??
Thanks for your sharing the history about Sau Mau Ping, real and valuable!
Look forward to listen more your stories about your life in Hong Kong.

Thank you having these photos to share. I lived in one of the buildings, block 32 from 1968 to 1976. It was my childhood memory but not a good one in certain aspect. Crime rate was high, our apartment was broken into when I was around 8 or 9, since then I was scared of the dark hallway in the building. The second time my sister and I came home at night, we got robbed after we got off from the elevator.
Also, my eldest sister came home late one night and she almost got raped inside the elevator and luckly she escaped without any harm. Oh boy, that government estate was full of crime. I was so glad that we moved to HK island and purchased our first condo. It was the good turning point of my life as well as my family!!!
