ZAKOPANE AND TATRA MOUNTAINS IN WINTER

Zakopane is a town in the extreme south of Poland, near the border with Slovakia. Located at the foot of the Tatra Mountains, it is a popular destination for mountaineering, skiing and qualified tourism.
It is known informally as "the winter capital of Poland."

The Tatra Mountains, Tatras or Tatra (Tatry in Polish), are the highest mountain range in the Carpathian Mountains and form a natural border between Slovakia and Poland.
