ANGELITE The Bulgarian Voices
This phenomenal group performed for the first time in Bremen, Germany in 1987, only to travel all around the world in the following years – from Alaska to Japan, from Mexico to India. Bulgarian Voices sung during the Noble Prize ceremony in Oslo (1996), and for an Indian maharaja, cooperated with Japanese Kodo Drummers, and produced joint CDs with the Tuva throat singers. Their discography includes Christian Orthodox religious vocal music, as well as “Balkan Passion” – a project prepared jointly with a number of international stars, such as Maria Farantouri, Sezen Aksu, Fanfare Ciocarlia.
In 2002, the group performed with the Nurnberg Symphonic Orchestra, as well as with Bobby McFerrin.
