Nizny Komarnik

Slovakia

Wooden greek-catholic church (tserkva) of Protection of the Mother Of God. Built in the 1938 on the dominant hill of the village.
It is a "Boiko" type of temple, typical for the Western Ukraine. Log-constructed, three-chambered, set on a stone foundation.
It has unusual octagonal cupolas and unique front porch with decorative columns.

Unique and interesting shot. Your angle of view on this is perfect! It's like laying on the grass and looking up at this beautiful structure.
