Monument to Karl Lueger at Dr.-Karl-Lueger-Platz, erected in 1926.
It was designed by Josef Müller who won a competition in 1912. But after the First World War there was the lack of funding and materials, so the construction had been postponed untill 1926.

Karl Lueger (1844-1910) was an Austrian politician, mayor of Vienna, and leader and founder of the Austrian Christian Social Party.
He is credited with the transformation of the city of Vienna into a modern city.
