The refuge was built in 2009 by Iran Mountain Federation and is the last campsite of the Southern route to Mt. Damavand summit.
Below you can see the Bargah Sevom Old Shelter, the oldest camp of Mt. Damavand, with some flat area for tenting and camping.
During summer it used to be very crowded and not suitable for use, so a New Hut was built.
