Mt. Damavand (5671m, 18,605 feet) is the highest peak in Iran and the Middle East, as well as the highest volcano in Asia.
Camp 3 Bargah Sevom is the last campsite of the Southern route.
There is a New Hut at 4250 m, that was built in 2009 by Iran Mountain Federation. It is the point from which people start the final summit attack.
