Tomasz Adamek (Poland), and Vitali Klitschko (Ukraine), two professional heavyweight boxers, fought for WBC Heavyweight Championship on 10 September 2011 in Poland.
Adamek was saved by the ropes from an early round knockdown.
He did suffer a knockdown in the later rounds, continuing after a mandatory 8 count.
The referee stopped the match in Round 10, after Adamek had been hit by a number of heavy blows and was no longer able to defend himself.
Adamek hoped for the victory, but Klitschko who was a bigger, heavier and better fighter, won by TKO and defended his WBC heavyweight title.
