Warsaw has been hit today by the crest of flooded Vistula River.
The wave, caused by days of heavy rain, may reach up to eight metres above emergency levels, say local authorities.
10 people have already lost their lives in the most serious flooding in Poland since 1997; thousands in the south of the country have had to be evacuated.
At the moment in Warsaw the river is rising 20-30 cm per hour and is the highest in 160 years.
