The church built little after 1600 is all wooden with roofs made of shingle, surrounded with low shed roofs (eaves).
The eaves were for people who were coming for an early morning Sunday mass, they used to arrive from distant villages already on Sat. evening and could hide from rain, wind or snow under this low wooden side roofing, while waiting till the next day.
