The far side of the head is so dark and mysterious makes you wonder what my be lurking..
A most excellent example for a B&W....V

Absolutely wonderful! The shadows offset the complexity of the dragon perfectly. NICE!

Oh Jola... This is perfect in B&W. I loved the color version but this really jacks up the mystery to a whole new leVel!

Impressive, dramatic, love the lighting.
Jason Anderson03-Aug-2008 22:49
Great dramatic lighting. Both versions are pretty, but the b&w seems more moody and mysterious :o)
Heidi Jonker03-Aug-2008 18:25
Superb!
Anja Lieder03-Aug-2008 16:21
She of the dragons again... a wonderful monochrome. Do you keep dragons in your den?

Great lighting. It's definitely more dramatic in b&w. Nicely done.

Fantastic shadows. For once I like the B&W version the most.
Phillip Normanton03-Aug-2008 11:01
Excellent spooky lighting! He seems to be smiling :)
Nicki Thurgar03-Aug-2008 09:05
The under-lighting makes for a dramatic B&W shot!

Laryl03-Aug-2008 03:34
very impressive looking dragon
Guest 03-Aug-2008 03:23
Completely adequate for black & white technique... I like the way it grows from deep blacks... voted!
Barry Rosenberg03-Aug-2008 02:25
very ominous look. the black and white version is much more emotional and intense.
Ken Duckert03-Aug-2008 02:23
The black and white is most dramatic. The color version is quite dramatic also, but the contrast in the B&W is powerful and really brings out the lines in the carving. Your lighting is perfect. Well done!
