Nice detail and color. This should be in your Rochester Decline gallery because nothing parallels the decline of the city more than the story of Kodak. The damaged sign just so perfectly mirrors that.

Wonderful work. V
(You can't even buy slide film where I live, let alone have it developed. Too bad that digital was so damaging to film photography.)

Love your POV for this capture. A sad reflection on what was once a world giant. Wonderful lighting and make this composition a stellar photograph with a powerful story. VVV

Ah, yes. Nice find. That the "K" is askew is a very nice extra. Fine composition. Vote.

Love your framing and the color is just beautiful in this shot. Kind of ironic!
Patrick Goossens28-Jun-2016 15:47
Even the word Kodak is falling apart.
Walter Otto Koenig28-Jun-2016 15:23
Excellent shot, so well composed and great with the that door and broken sign. Really like the detail and shadows! "V"

the door glass is like a torn shutter, and Kodak only a shadow of it's former self...potent image..

This hits a nerve with me! All those years of BW processing, color negs and their quirks....oh my. As much as I love digital, this one hurts. Progress yes, but still it was a part of my life. V
Jim Coffman28-Jun-2016 12:23
Such a pity! A national icon in decay...
Carol How28-Jun-2016 06:20
Oh my gosh; this is such a sad state! You have done it justice with this image…the long shadows are very emotive! V
Bill Miller28-Jun-2016 06:10

Helen Betts28-Jun-2016 05:25
