My dear friend Ruby Bernardo is one of my favorite muses. Shooting her is inspiring because I get to be creative to my heart's content and she takes it all in with delight, encouragement and zest. The crazier idea, the better. Though modeling is not her day job (she has a successful real estate business), she knows when to strike a pose when the mood arises. With our other friend, Silverio, who designs our clothes and applies fabulous makeup, the three of us bond together for annual photo shoots like this when our schedules allow us. The result is oftentimes fun, intimate and surprising.
