When I started writing for the newspaper back in the mid 90s, I get invited to a lot of parties-- A LOT. Since then, my past time has been to shoot the food display before I eat them. Though I don't write about food often, I love taking images and appreciating the art of food preparation and presentation. The training came in handy, because I started shooting for magazines.

Since then, I've shot food for establishments. The challenge for a food photographer is to make the dish look yummy that you go hungry when you look at it. The best part of a pictorial? Seeing the output and eating afterwards. :-)
