.... An average dairy cow gives birth to a calf at the same time every year.
And she produces 10 times her own bodyweight in milk each year!
This can only happen if the cow is healthy, eats tons of grass,
drinks hundreds of gallons of water, has strong legs and feet for walking, a
big stomach, and a great circulation system.
These are the sort of qualities that the judges look for when cows are judged
at The County Show.
