Just before the sun dipped below the Southern Alps behind me it threw up a rainbow as the days final offering....just when I thought everything was over and I was packing up. I was not impressed with that rainbow as my fingers were raw from the winter southerly that was blowing and I could hardly move them as I reassembled all the bits and pieces to take this. In moments of panic I tend to shout. Luckily I think there was only Rupert the labrador to hear me and he has got used to it.....specially when I find him in the rubbish. He must think it is worth it.
