shady bluebells

Those of you who live in warmer climes might laugh but it's been mid 20s Celcius today and I don't function at such high temperatures it makes me tired and grumpy
I've only taken one picture today and this is it, when it cools down I'll try to do better.

A lovely image: it transmits exactly the effect the heat has on many living things.

Looking good in that shade, just where you need to be. I commented last week that it was 23deg, Iaine said "Put a long sleeve on"

The bluebells sum up the way I feel as well.
It wouldn't be so bad if we had a spring between winter and summer to get used to the weather.

That's definitely the way I feel in the summer, but doesn't sound like your temperatures are there yet. Visit us here in the Washington, DC, area around late July or early August if you really want to get tired and cranky. (If you happen to be a Terry Pratchett fan, your comment about the heat reminds me of the effect of heat on Detritus the troll.)

LOL, we're just not used to it, are we???? Lovely shot of these wilting bluebells...

No heat wave here yet, just beautiful spring weather and a dog constantly barking for me to throw his ball. Sometimes, you only need one shot.

Me three, stayed in the shade of the wood - 28 here today - you would've hated it.
Mairéad23-May-2010 21:23
LOL-it's a bit of a shock to the system when the sun comes out.
I like this image though, it conveys the heat.
