This little scooter is in fact built in India where an optional accessory was a footboard to permit a female passenger wearing a Sari to ride side saddle. I expect the UK law makers would take a dim view of this. The wheels have such small perforations that a security chain cannot be looped through them to secure the bike to a handy lamp post and so one day I came back to the car park at the local station to find that it had been stolen. It was recovered but burnt out on a canal tow path.
