Cameras and National Service

I looked up my record's ie National Service photographs and found this photo of me taking a photo of me in the mirror using a Leica IIc while waiting for billet inspection. I carried the camera everywhere including taking it home (punishable by death).

When I got demobbed I bought a Super Ikonta 532/16 and used it for most of the racing photo's and on aircrew. For work I used Nikon, Rolleiflex T and a Gandolfi 9+12. My own first camera was a Kershaw Penguin which I paid £5or £6 new in 1949. I now use Nikon Nikkormat F 80, F100, F6, D200,Fuji X100 and assortment of smaller Canon,Fuji and Olympus camera's. Now I've started down memory lane I can't stop so here are a few photos.
