In the beginning, The Glines was a gay arts center. We not only produced plays, we showed films,
mounted art exhibits, presented poetry readings, dance concerts, cabaret acts, performance pieces,
etc., the reason being that, along with Doric Wilson's company TOSOS which gave birth to The Glines,
our companies were practically the only game in town for art that dealt with the gay experience.
A VERY NATURAL THING was the first film we presented.
