After vacationing in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands, we spent another two weeks traveling in Peru. This was the opportunity to knock of a bunch of bucket list items like Machu Picchu, Nazca lines and Lake Titicaca. Like Ecuador, Peru is a pretty poor nation. There are even more street vendors than in Ecuador. It is clear that tourism has to be a top industry for these guys. Many of the "native" things we saw were clearly set up for the tourist trade. That aside, it was pretty interesting. The highlight was Machu Picchu, of course.
