Brazoria County Airport is in Lake Jackson, near to Freeport where Dow Chemical has a giant plant. The airport is very nice with a huge runway. The reason is that Dow has some big airplanes it brings in here from Midland, Michigan. There used to be regular B-737 service as a company charter but now I guess they use and Airbus (boo hiss). There is a nice restaurant on the place called the Windsock Grill.
