With Bloke's help I got started on the Cessna annual today. We got things going very quickly and got far enough to check compression. The compression check always puckers me. A low one (which has happend quite a few times with the Cessna) means time and money. We did the first jug and I about had a heart attack. It was under 35! Jeez, I thought, here we go again. Then the light came on in the attic. We couldn't run the engine first since we are hangar bound with the construction. The airplane has been sitting for over 3 months. You might inmagine that the rings might be drained of oil. So we shot the cylinders with some oil, and voila! All of them were in the mid-70's. Whew!
