Clever Ruse

070625_139P.jpg

This is not what it appears to be. To the unschooled, this may appear to be an alien touring craft. Notice the nice big windows. But the trained eye (mine for example) detects certain things that clearly distinguish this as a fake. First of all, the coronal discharge thruster packs are not only missing, but the lateral stabilizer bar assembly brackets are not even installed. Additionally, the fratostatic nebulizer and discombobulator control unit has clearly never been installed. This item was observed in Tillamook Oregon. It is labeled as a homebuilt lighter than air craft. That is indeed what it is. I can't tell you how many prospective field agents have been tripped up by this one.

The brilliant, child's-toy markings momentarily distracted me from the impressiveness of the hangar itself. Surely no human could have built such a structure, at least not since 600 AD/CE. (Not to be confused with AC/DC and their new hit single, "Surely no human could have built such a structure").

John Cooper rose to his lofty position on The Team by seeing the truth in the middle of a ruse. The silly appearance is intentional: it deflects serious analysis. He has the scars to prove his claim to have ridden in the thing. (John, thank you for sacrificing your [REDACTED] for the good of Mankind.) Note the dimples in the undersurface: they were caused by impacts of self-replicating anti-matter, something not found on Earth (not even in Notner!). That it is on display and not causing any humans to disintegrate is due to its having been neutralized with reguritative mesons. I salute Agent Chempilot for demonstarting a firm grasp of acronyms.

Actually this is an Alien touring craft (I have been on it). But being cleverly designed as a fake Alien touring craft, it has fooled many people.
Might I suggest a few weeks retraining at The Cross of Lorraine school of A.C.D. (Alien Craft Detection.) Run by Professor Morrey.
