We made another trip out to the duck lake again today. You might wonder why Ginny's dad has a trowel in his hand. He is not going to cultivate the field! He went out to dig down a little bit in various spots to check the moisture. The surface can be a fooler. It may look wet, but underneath it isn't. We have had several days of drizzle here, so the ground is wet. There isn't enough moisture to penetrate even an inch.
