I had a very busy tutoring schedule today, but in the middle of the afternoon I had an hour off. So I grabbed my camera and went out into the yard. It was a beautiful sunny day and I looked around for things that would be dazzling in the sunlight. The palm in the front yard seemed to fit the bill.

You must have lost track of the position of your hand, as the camera missed it.

Actually, I used a palm to block the sun from the lens.

Photographing a palm is much easier that that: just hold your hand in front of the camera.
