Ginny made a real nice lunch today. As she was working on it I happened to peer over her shoulder while she was cutting up an onion. I guess I looked for about a nanosecond too long and she asked "Do you have an issue with this?" What the ...... Issue?

Now, the thing you have to realize is that the word "issue" is purely a female thing that no self-respecting adult male would ever utter in this context. Surely a male would use the word in the context of "Have you seen the latest issue of Guns and Ammo?" That is perfectly acceptable male usage of that word. BUT, we don't have issues with people. No way.

If you can get away with it, listen to your significant female other sometime when she is talking with her girl friends. You will hear a lot of things that, as a male, you should never say aloud, especially in front of other males.

If you want to actually hear a man use the word in the feminine sense, there is a place you can go. That is Starback's, of course. That is where witless males hang out trying their feminine-side language skills in the hope of getting lucky, presumably with females, but this is Starbuck's so it might be hard to tell.

Of course, I could be wrong.

Hmmm, I'll go along with what the others have said here so far.
