This was the scheduling day from hell, and Ginny, the master of schedule manipulation, handled it with great skill. This is what she did today. We had nine hours of tutoring scheduled and I had started with the first student when the second student's mom arrived to announce that her sprout became sick at school and couldn't come. Then in rapid succession two more students called, one in the emergency room with a football injury and the other getting an MRI because of a seizure. Ginny grabbed the schedule and the phone list and started to work. Through her magic, we filled the three open slots from the waiting list and managed to reschedule some of our regular students into more favorable slots. And, if that were not enough, she went to pick up the rescheduled three o'clock student because his mom was elsewhere with another of her sons. Ginny really makes our tutoring work smoothly.

Now, in journalistic honesty, I have to inform you that this photo is not exactly what it seems to be. Unlike the major print media which seems to manipulate photos, I must be honest. I took this photo tomorrow, not today. By the time I finished tutoring at 11pm, all I wanted was an adult beverage and some sleep.
