This is what a polarizing filter can do when there is scattered light. The top one is unfiltered and the bottom one is with the filter adjusted. I was really amazed at the result. In the top photo you can't see any of the graffitti on the bench, but in the bottom one you can see it all. Really neat. I have never had one of the filters before, and I can see it might come in quite handy on certain occasions.

This technology has made a significant contribution to the effort of documenting the presence of alien beings on this planet. I keep two of them in my Extraterrestrial and Paranormal Evidence Documentation Field Kit "just in case."
