When I got back from Oregon, a box of goodies from B&H Photo and Video (my favorite mail order place!) was waiting. One of the goodies was a circular polarized lens. I took it out to the airport and shot a few frames. I was really underwhelmed. I think the conditions were such that there wasn't a great deal of scattered light to mess with so the lens had no real effect. See July 15 for a more interesting test.
