There was a big storm coming this morning early. It looked like it would hit before sunrise, so I headed out to the airport for another try at lightening pictures. I moved the planes around a little bit to get the van into the hangar in case of hail. Anyway, I shot over 200 frames but not a single lightening image. Thank heaven for digital cameras, this was a cheap skunking.

John, you're gonna have to get a Canon remote timer for that camera.. then you can set it for multiple slow shutter shots and forget it, then come away with lightening bolts 8-)

so that's how the flags got fixed!

p.s. speaking of skunks, i saw a cute little one at the hangars this evening...
