Why did I take a picture of bacon? Simple, it is among the things that I did today. I love bacon, and my preferred way of preparing it is baking for 25 minutes (or so) at 375F. Now some of you out there may be quietly thinking that baking is wussing out, it ought to be FRIED. Heck, everything ought to be fried or grilled! Well, bacon is one of those few foodstuffs that is actually an exception to the fried or grilled rule. That is because bacon has enought fat in it to be qualified as fried regardless of the method of preparation. There is one other compelling reason to bake it here in this household. I don't get grease splattered all over the stove (even though I clean it up immediately) which ensures domestic tranquility.
