Day Thirteen
It was a beautiful sunny morning so we decided to go to the state capitol and get some pictures. When we were there in 2016, the weather was crappy, so our exterior photos weren't so good. This morning it was different and we got some good ones. We also stopped at the Wisconsin Historical Museum. It was not very big but it was well done and interesting. They had the usual Indian exhibits. They also had quite a bit about industrial Wisconsin. You always think Wisconsin is an agricultural state, which it is. They also have lots of industry.
Our next stop was a hotel in Pleasant Prairie. After getting settled it was on to a visit with our graduate school friend Larry an his wife Karin. That was lots of fun. Lots of mutual friends and experiences to share. We had good dinner in Antioch, IL, then headed back to the hotel.
Today's photo is in front of the Wisconsin State Capitol. Good morning sun is hard to beat.
