Day Twenty One
We were heading to Angel's Camp today. The route took us through Chico, California. What is there to do in Chico? I hear you ask. Actually, there are two things to do there. The first is the National YoYo Museum. It is very small but it is nicely done. A bit of nostalgia there for many people. They had a red Duncan Imperial YoYo just like the one I had in grade school. They also had the world's largest operating YoYo on display. It is made of wood and about 4 feet in diameter. You need a crane to operate it.
The best thing to do is visit the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company for a tour. It was a very well done tour and we learned a lot. My all time favorite beer is Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. It was the first one introduced when the company was formed in 1980. Every brewery, distillery and winery we visit leads to new knowledge. It was fun. Today's photo is in the gift shop. Yes, Virginia, every place we go has a gift shop.
