Today is Ginny's birthday. We had a very good day. Ginny selected her birthday lunch which was a shrimp curry. That is one of my favorites as well. Besides, it is very easy to make. I made a quick run to the store to get the shrimp. The big surprise of the day is that our son Robert sent Ginny a dozen cupcakes. They were specially packaged with a cold pack and a container that really immobilized them so they did not get smashed. So after the birthday lunch we had cupcakes. I sang the happy birthday song. Life is good. The peasants rejoiced and peace returned to the realm.
