It was Sunday and we were destined for mass at some time. Ginny found out that Mission San Jose had lots of masses and the one at noon was a mariachi mass. So we set out with Ken and Debbie to attend it. It was a beautiful day and we got there very early so we just hung out in front of the church and talked about stuff. The mass itself was very cool. The mariachi music was mostly in Spanish, and it was very well done. They had two harps. You never see a harp in the typical strolling mariachi band. The mass was said in English. So in the early afternoon We said our good byes and headed down the road for the 4 hour drive back home. This was definitely one of the funnest weekends we have had. Next year it will be in Nashville, we decided. One of the best things about this weekend is that Ginny planned it. It worked out perfectly. Nobody does a better job of trip planning than Ginny.
