Got the right (starboard) side of the engine mostly installed today. Back a few days you can see what it looks like with just the cylinders attached. Once you put in the intake manifold, muffler, exhaust risers and cylinder inlets things get very crowded. The last step to get here today was getting the muffler in place. It fits well, but you need a little lagniappe to get it in all the fittings. That means loosening the exhaust stacks a little bit so there is some wiggle room. It is also a two man job because it needs to be held in place until one exhaust clamp is installed. Bloke is good at holding things. Work on the port side has to wait until three new exhaust risers arrive. That might be by Friday. In the mean time there are other things that need to be done.
Today's photo is of the right side of the engine with all the intake and exhaust systems in place. Looks pretty cool.
