I spent the day driving to San Antonio and back to pick up some new cylinders for the Cessna. It was long and boring. The highlight, though, was a call from the local Academy store that my new Ruger pistol had arrived. So I headed to Academy at the end of the trip to pick it up. The story can be found here. What a beautiful piece it is. I am anxious to get it out to the range for a little breaking in. As you probably know the New Model Ruger Blackhawk is a single action pistol, like the cowboys used. Rapid fire is not an option. It doesn't matter, however, because it is just fun to shoot.
